I think you've studied French, and I think you must intimately appreciate the particulars of this word. Much as the English all, tout can be an adjective, adverb, noun, or pronoun. In French, though, there are different spelling challenges for each one. AARRRGGGHH! I must say it's easier to understand the difference now that I have a solid foundation for the English parts of speach - so thank you for that! A bientôt! Connie –
